Hello, I’m Henrietta Thornton, and I’m a celebrant dedicated to creating ceremonies that are personal, heartfelt, and memorable. My journey as a celebrant started from a deep love for celebrating life’s important moments—whether it’s the joy of a wedding, the welcoming of a new life in a naming ceremony, or a heartfelt farewell at a funeral.

I believe that each ceremony should reflect the unique stories, values, and connections that make life beautiful. Every detail matters to me, and I work closely with you to craft a service that truly resonates.

A Personal and Compassionate Approach

My family and I live in Windsor, Berkshire and like all of us have had our share or ups and downs which has shaped the way I approach each ceremony. I have also over the last several years worked with the Samaritans as a listener and running their schools programme in our area speaking to young people about mental health and how to navigate life.

It is this life experience along with what I have learnt with the Samaritans which I believe allows me to connect with people in some of their most precious and profound moments. I approach each service with compassion, and genuine care, ensuring that every ceremony feels true to those it’s honouring. 

My role is to be a guide, a listener, and a source of support, tailoring each ceremony to reflect your story in a way that feels meaningful and authentic. I’m committed to making the experience as smooth and joyful as possible, allowing you to feel comfortable and fully present in the moment.

My goal is to create ceremonies that bring people together, foster connection, and create beautiful memories. Whether you’re celebrating a new beginning, a partnership, or a life lived, I’m here to help create a ceremony that will be cherished by you and your loved ones for years to come.
